Darma was found in an abandoned building with a filthy rag tied around her.
It appears that she had a recent litter, so she is probably not spayed. She likely went thru a lot of grief in her short life, but remains a very nice and adoptable dog. She has a good temperment and gets along with both cats and other dogs. All she needs is a warm, loving home. She would like a human of her own. Darma was just spayed. Pet is to date with routine shots.
Darma - adopted January 12, 2002 by Maria & Anthony is very happy in her new home.
Greg - RETRIEVER MIX
NINE MIXED BREED PUPPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ON JUNE 23. WE DON'T KNOW FOR SURE, WE ESTIMATE THAT THEY ARE A MIX OF RETRIEVER, ROTTWEILER, AND POSSIBLY COLLIE. THE PUPPIES ARE 8 - 9 WEEKS AND WILL LIKELY GROW TO BE BETWEEN 40- 50 LBS. PUPPY PRE-ADOPTION FORMS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED BY THE BLOOMFIELD/BUKOWSKI ANIMAL SHELTER.
GREGORY WAS ONE OF THOSE PUPPIES - THEY ESTIMATED WRONG - HE GREW TO 114 POUNDS AND LOOKS 1/2 GREYHOUND AND 1/2 ROTTIE. A LOVEABLE GUY FOR HIS SIZE AND VERY GENTLE SOUL - HE FOLLOWS DARMA AROUND EVERYWHERE AND THINKS THAT IS HIS MOM. HE IS 3 1/2 NOW AND IS THE GREAT PUP IN THE WORLD :)
