Dog
Scouts Dinner Meeting Sunday July 22, 2007
Summary:
7
members got together to prepare for the first official Dog Scouts PA Troop #158
orientation meeting(s). Below is a list of everything we discussed. I tried to make it easy to scroll through so you can read the topics that interest you most.
There will be 2
orientation meetings held if necessary to accommodate everyone from North Jersey
to Maryland. Time and dates for the orientation meeting(s)
will be provided soon and everyone is encouraged to bring a potential
recruit. Anyone can attend a couple of
meetings before deciding to become a member.
Paid DSA members can bring their well behaved dogs to the orientation
meeting, location not yet established.
Members
are only required to be responsible dog owners and to elicit the same from
others by simply setting a good example.
They are welcome to participate in events and other fun educational
activities whenever they're interested, there are no minimum requirements and
anything anyone can do is valued and appreciated. To earn badges, you must get your DSA
certification.
Guidelines
for DSA certification:

You
DO NOT need to become DSA certified to be a Dog Scouts Member. You can still attend events and outings but you
won't be able to earn badges.
